As we can see the whole two pages is one image with Courtney love sitting on the right hand page. There is no main articles. The picture is taken as if she is in a comfortable situation talking to a friend, this is to try and show the reader that Courtney Love is talking what is on her mind. The coloring is in black and white on this page and this is to give the impression that she is in a studio and she is not worried about her pictures but more on the interview . There is a small box in the top right hand corner of this page that is bright red so the reader can see clearly that this would be an in depth interview. It that states the interview is a "studio special", this shows the reader that they have got her to personally come into the studio so that they can get first hand information and music gossip from Courtney Love.

The "Courtney Love" in the heading is in a bold red boxed background, the red is to keep with the Q magazine colour scheme. It is also in this because it is showing the reader the importance of Courtney Love and making her name the main part of the double page spread, this is to also help the reader know who the double page spread is about. At the top of the page it says 'The 2010 preview', this shows that the Q magazine regards her to be one of many talents in the year 2010 and so this would help attract readers to this article.
